Yin Yoga ~ Suitable for all levels

Yin Yoga postures are held in a relaxed state for between one to five minutes and are mostly seated or reclined. If you feel particularly tight in the hips, struggle with back problems or feel your general energy level is not as it should be, Yin Yoga helps.

Yin Yoga allows us to access layers of fascia and potentially impact the energy channels within our body. It is a meditative practice, with the time spent in each pose allowing the body to become stiller. This stillness gives us the opportunity to observe the impact that stillness in our bodies may have on our minds.

After a Yin Yoga practice we feel relaxed, de-stressed and balanced.

Classes are suited for all levels. Yin Yoga is particularly indicated for people recovering from injuries or chronic conditions, such as frozen shoulder, hip or leg injuries, asthma, arthritis and other conditions. There are plenty of options and props offered for varying abilities and injuries to ensure an appropriate balance between challenge and comfort.
